Born and raised in Nashville, Dr. Milam is a true native to the city. He attended Battle Ground Academy for high school and the University of Tennessee Knoxville for both his undergraduate degree and for veterinary school. Outside of veterinary medicine, he has many interests, and you can often find him running the trails of Warner Park, pursuing largemouth bass, cycling, and cooking extravagant dinners (he loves to eat!). His black Labrador, General Pierre Gustav Toutant Beauregard, is often seen at his side during these adventures.
