Meet Dr. David Edwards

Dr. David Edwards, owner, is a Nashville native and grew up about 2 miles from Belle Meade Animal Hospital. He attended the University of Tennessee for both his undergraduate and veterinary education, and received his veterinary degree in 1988.

He began practicing small animal medicine at Belle Meade Animal Hospital in 1989, and bought the practice January 1, 1995.

He lives nearby with his wife Ashley, 3 sons Sam, Jack, and Foster, and their dogs Sister and Amos, and cats Daisy and Dozer. He also has a menagerie of horses, cattle and cats on their family farm. During his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing and cheering on the Tennessee Titans!
