Kelley has been a Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician at Belle Meade Animal Hospital since 1999. As a primary surgery and dentistry technician, she provides exceptional care for patients needing surgery, dental or anesthetic procedures. She also acts as a mentor and educator for aspiring student veterinary technicians during their clinical rotations. She lives nearby with her husband James, their two dogs Yogi and Emmitt, and their cat Zeke. In her free time, she enjoys singing (Kelley is a graduate of Belmont’s School of Music!), traditional bow hunting, gardening, and watching NFL games. She is an avid Dallas Cowboys fan!
Amy has worked at Belle Meade Animal Hospital since 2007. She considers nail trims and anal glands her "specialties," and also enjoys intensive nursing care. She lives with her 3 dogs Hank, Gigi and Shana, as well as her cat Dash. In her spare time, she enjoys walking with her dogs, going to flea markets, junk store shopping, and visiting friends.
Kathy Manning has worked at BMAH since 2007. Her special interests in veterinary medicine are surgery, clinical pathology and parasitology.She has three grown children (Katherine, Charles and Robert), and four grandchildren (Georgia, Annabel, Benjamin and Caroline).
She lives nearby with her five cats (Old Hickory, Rachel, Jackson, Matthew and Tater). In her spare time, Kathy enjoys hiking, wildflower photography, counted cross stitch, antiquing and cheering on the Florida Gators and the Ole Miss Rebels.
Vikki has been at Belle Meade Animal Hospital since 1997. She enjoys helping owners take better care of their pets, and also enjoys counseling owners through both the happy and stressful times. She lives nearby with her husband Jeff, and has two grown children, Brittany and Nick.
Vikki and Jeff live with their 3 dogs, Magnolia Petals, Dilly, and Frankie Joe Dirt, their orange tabby cat Muay Thai, their turtle Daniel, their gerbil Dean, and many tanks full of fish. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, gardening, and cooking.
Amanda has worked at Belle Meade Animal Hospital since 2000. She has taken over the responsibility of stocking and keeping track of the many medications and supplies that we have in our hospital.
She lives with her husband Josh and their two dogs Pauli (dachshund) and Wilson (beagle/ bluetick hound mix) but her orange tabby, The General rules the house! In her spare time, she enjoys long walks with Wilson, spending time with friends, gardening and watching UT and Titans football games.
Chelsea lives in Kingston Springs with her husband, Jamison. She has three children, Lilly, Gage and Cora. She has 9 cats (Apollo, Wednesday, Han Solo, Sprinkles, Pina Colada, Mint Chip, Churro, Peaches and Mittens), six dogs (Beauty, River, Hermione, Gumbo, Bahama and Storm) several reptiles, a bobcat, chickens and a chinchilla.
She has worked in photography and landscaping. She is a Certified Fitness Instructor. Chelsea volunteered at the Memphis Zoo for seven years and helped her grandparents with their horses (they raised Appaloosas). She has always had a strong passion and interest for animals of all sorts. She enjoys journaling, gardening, reading a variety of books, caring for animals, being outdoors and in nature, fishing, cheering on the Denver Broncos and off roading in their Jeep.
Jenny is a native to Nashville who has worked in the pet industry for 14 years. She is a busy mom of two active boys, Hugo and Vincent and a rowdy Chihuahua, Senora Speedy Gonzales.
In her free time, she enjoys the beauty of nature and attending arts and cultural events which inspires her passion for photography.
Sam started at BMAH seasonally in 2011 while she was a student and began working full time in 2016 after obtaining her veterinary technician license. She graduated from Murray State University with a B. S. in Agriculture with an area in Veterinary Technology. Her interests include nursing care of patients and canine physical therapy.
Sam was born and raised in Nashville. She and her boyfriend, Stephen, now live in Goodlettsville with their dogs (Cricket and Bonnie), two cats (Olive and O'Malley), and small mischief of rats. In her spare time she likes to spend time with her family and friends and go on walks with her dogs.
Becky is a 24 year old animal lover who lives in Dickson, TN with her 2 dogs, Keyla and Kova. She loves all animals but her passion for dogs is what drove her to work with animals. She grew up on a farm in Louisiana with her parents, 4 older sisters, and many different types of animals. Her hobbies outside of work include, loving on her fur babies, being outdoors, listening to live music, photography, and spending time with her big family. Her goal is to become a certified vet tech and continue learning all she can about veterinary medicine!
Leigha is from Lyles, TN where she lives with her husband Cory and two young children Raleigh and Owen. She has six dogs ( 1 Rottweiller, 3 Pit bulls, 1 German Shepherd mix and 1 Chihuahua) She graduated from Columbia state community college in 2016 and is a licensed veterinary technician. Her interests in veterinary medicine include surgery, critical care and clinical pathology.
In her free time, she enjoys playing guitar, reading, spending time with family and playing in the backyard with her dogs. Also, she is a fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide. Roll Tide!
Marlena started at BMAH in 2017. She graduated Columbia state community college and has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician since 2013. Her interests are ophthalmology and critical care. In her spare time she enjoys spending time outside with her many pets, including chickens!
Liz is a 24-year old equestrian who was born and raised in Ashland city, TN. Her life has always revolved around her horses and other animals. She enjoys barrel racing with her horse, Skittles. Along with Skittles Liz has two ponies, Rusty and Lightning. Rusty and Liz have been companions for fifteen years. She also has two dogs, Teal and Rae, and one cat cleverly named Kitten. Her passion has always been her animals and she has always treated animals with love, patience and understanding. Her goal is to continue working at BMAH and to become a veterinarian technician.
Shelby, originally from Memphis, moved to Nashville in 2013. She grew up fostering cats and dogs and spent her teenage and young adult years volunteering at the Memphis and Nashville Humane Society during her free time. She enjoys hiking and kayaking on the weekends and loves vacations on the beach and in the mountains.
I was born in San Francisco and moved to Nashville in 2020! I've always had a passion for animals and growing up owned everything from frogs, lizards and snakes to ferrets and dogs. My best friend is my dog Daisy! We love going on hikes and exploring Tennessee together, and enjoying all the beautiful scenery and waterfalls! I have a 10 year old cat named Lamb, whose favorite thing to do is lounge around the house. When I'm not hiking or going to the dog park, I like baking and cooking and doing puzzles at home. Working at BMAH has been a dream come true and I love all of the dogs like they are my own during their stay at the hospital! The clients have got some great doggos.
Cat moved out of her hometown in Arkansas to Tennessee in 2020. She lives in Franklin, TN and started at Belle Meade Animal Hospital in January of 2022. Cat has grown up with and around animals since birth, and decided to turn her passion for them into her career. She has a mini golden-doodle named Maxie and two cats, Night and Paladin. Her goal is to make sure that every animal coming to the vet feels like they are treated with the same love and comfort that they are accustomed to at home
Annie grew up in Virginia and went to college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Go Heels!). She moved to the Nashville area with her dog (Ted) and started working at BMAH in 2020. In her free time she enjoys getting outside, listening to live music, and playing guitar. Her goal is to become a veterinarian, and she will be starting vet school at the University of Tennessee - Knoxville this Fall!
Merra's love of animals began at a very young age. She grew up on an 11 acre ranch on the outskirts of a little town in Wisconsin, surrounded by all kinds of animals including guinea pigs, ponies, horses, cats, a dog, and even a goat! Animals have been a consistent presence in Merra's life, and they continue to be a bright spot to the present day. Her current little furry companions are two cats: Bo, a tuxedo kitty, and Skye, her longhaired princess. When she's not cuddling kittens and puppies in the lobby of the hospital, she enjoys reading quietly at home with a cup of tea.
Sarah started working at BMAH in 2021. She is a Nashville native. In her free time she loves to go hiking, do some baking, and go to the movies. Sarah also loves to learn about each animal's personality and loves watching them grow. Some of her favorite animals that she sees at BMAH have to be the senior animals. She can't help but give them some extra love. Sarah has a black cat named Beanz and a hound dog named Harley.
Annie is from Kingston Springs, TN where she lives with her husband and two springer spaniels, Dobby and Kreacher. She has been in animal care since 2016. Annie spends her free time kayaking, relaxing in her hammock and spending time with her friends and family.
Sydnee was born and raised in Southern California. She grew up surfing at Old Man's beach and while an avid beach lover, also spent time at her hometown's local rodeo during the summer. She packed her truck last fall for Tennessee to pursue a life dream of owning a farm one day. Her passions include Australian Cattle Dogs, agriculture, country music, wild flowers, cows and loving on every single animal that comes to Belle Meade Animal Hospital. She always has a treat for every four legged family member!
Taylor started at BMAH in January 2022. She attends college at Penn Foster and her career goal is to be a Veterinarian. Taylor grew up in Fairview her whole life and now lives in Nashville with her fiancé and 2 cats, Milo and Maya. In her spare time she loves to go to the river, camp, and spend time with family.
